Standing policy
Ethics, Consent, and Your Birth Data
A Human Design chart is calculated from three pieces of personal data. That makes consent the foundation of doing this work professionally, not a courtesy. These are the rules this practice runs on, published so clients, teams, and other practitioners can hold it to them.
Your birth data belongs to you
The working principle across everything here: each person generates their own chart from their own birth data. The free calculator runs through Jovian Archive's official Maia Mechanics software, and your birth details go to that calculation, not to this site. When you purchase a reading, you send your birth data voluntarily for that engagement; it is used to prepare your analysis and is not sold, shared, or repurposed. No employer, coach, or colleague should ever be collecting your birth details on your behalf, and this practice doesn't help anyone do so.
Team work is consent-gated, every member, every time
Group analysis reads the team as a whole, which means it involves everyone's chart. So team engagements here, including the Team Gap Reading, run on a simple gate: every member consents and submits their own data, or the engagement doesn't run for that team. A "no" from one person is not worked around, aggregated past, or quietly overridden by a manager supplying dates. The practical script for introducing this to a team, consent first, is published in the birth-data consent script.
Hiring: no covert charts, no type screening
In hiring contexts, candidates generate their own charts and choose to share the conversation, the same consent standard as everywhere else, and nobody is charted from birth details scraped or collected without their knowledge. Just as firmly: no one is screened in or out by type, profile, or any other configuration. The system is built without a hierarchy between designs, and using it to rank candidates is a misuse of the material, not an application of it. What chart work offers a hiring process is fit and placement insight with the candidate's participation, never a covert filter.
Public figures are a different, documented case
This site publishes chart analyses of well-known founders and public figures. Those pieces use independently maintained, publicly documented birth records of public and historical figures, under the sourcing standard described on the methodology page. Private individuals are never charted or analyzed without their consent, full stop.
Professional standards in the practice itself
- Student disclosure. In the certification pathway taught here, students may deliver defined services before certification only while fully disclosing student status. No one presents as certified who isn't.
- Systems taught separately. Human Design's business application is delivered as itself, not blended into other frameworks mid-engagement. Clients are told which claims are calculated and which are anything else.
- Plain pricing. Every offer on this site carries a published price or a published starting point. No call required to find out what things cost.
- Real testimonials. Client words on this site come from real clients and students. Case studies come from real sessions, anonymized, never invented.
What this work is, and is not
Human Design is not a scientifically validated psychometric instrument, and nothing here claims otherwise. It is also not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and a chart reading is never a substitute for a qualified professional in any of those domains. What the work offers is a calculated map and a testable practice: run your strategy and authority against real decisions and judge it by your own results. Where an article compares this system to validated instruments, the science is conceded honestly, because trust built on overclaiming isn't trust.
Compensation transparency
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links, disclosed in the footer of every page along with the roles held with those organizations. Comparison articles about other assessment systems disclose in the text that this practice sells in the same market, so you can weigh the analysis with that in mind.
Questions or concerns
If you believe anything on this site, or in an engagement, has fallen short of this page, say so directly. This policy is the standard the practice asks to be held to.
