The gate library
The 64 Gates, Read for Work
Every gate in your chart is a specific capacity you bring to a business. This is the career and business library for all 64 of them, in the BG5 names the business application actually uses, where gate 26 is not "The Egoist" but Sales / Marketing, and gate 45 is Gathering Together.
Why the business names differ
The classical Human Design keynotes were written for the education pathway, and many of them describe a gate's nature rather than its job. The business application renames a number of them for what the capacity actually does inside a company. Gate 26 becomes Sales / Marketing. Gate 21, the Hunter, becomes Control, the management gate. Gate 2 becomes The Driver. Gate 54, Ambition, becomes Drive.
Where a name is unchanged, it is unchanged because it already said the useful thing. Both namings are listed on every gate page, so nothing is lost in translation, and the classical, education-side treatment of each gate lives at theHumanDesignSystem.com/gates.
A gate is only half a channel. A gate you carry without its partner is a potential the design keeps looking to complete, which is why the same gate reads differently depending on who you work beside. That is also why team analysis reads the group rather than stacking individual profiles.

Which of these are actually yours?
Your chart activates a specific subset of these 64, twice over: once consciously, once in the unconscious design you cannot self-report. Run your free chart to see which, then read them here.
