Privacy Notice
This work runs on the most personal data there is: the date, time, and place you were born. This page says plainly what is collected, why, who else sees it, how long it is kept, and how to make it go away.

Who is responsible for your data
HumanDesignBusiness.com, operated by ICONIC Human Design, LLC, is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions, requests, and complaints about your data reach LaVeena B. Archers on LinkedIn, and are answered personally.
What is collected, and why
Birth data
Your date of birth, time of birth, and city and country of birth. This is the input every reading is calculated from; without it there is no chart and no analysis. It is collected only when you buy something that requires it, and only from you.
The lawful basis is performance of a contract — you bought an analysis, and this is the data the analysis is computed from. Note that a date of birth reveals your age, so this is treated as data worth protecting rather than as a routine form field. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to build a profile of you for any purpose other than the reading you bought.
Order and contact information
Your name, email address, billing country, and the record of what you bought. Collected at checkout, used to deliver the work, issue receipts, and meet tax and accounting obligations. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never held here.
Newsletter
Your email address and the record of your consent, if you subscribe. The lawful basis is consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, with no effect on anything you have bought.
Support chat
What you type into the support chat, plus your IP address for rate limiting. The chat is answered by an AI assistant, which is disclosed in the widget itself. If a conversation needs a human, the transcript is emailed to whoever can resolve it. Do not put anything into the chat you would not want a person to read.
Technical data
Your IP address and approximate country, seen by the hosting layer on every request. Country is also what sets regional pricing, so a visitor in a lower-income region is shown and charged a lower price. No advertising trackers, no cross-site pixels, and no third-party analytics profiles are used on this site.
Who else processes it
Only the services below, each doing one job. None of them is permitted to use your data for its own purposes.
- Stripe Payments Takes your card details, name and email at checkout, and any birth data collected in checkout fields. Card numbers are never seen by this site.
- Cloudflare Hosting and delivery Serves every page and runs the checkout, chat and pricing endpoints. Processes your IP address and approximate country, which is also what determines regional pricing.
- Kit (ConvertKit) Newsletter Stores your email address and consent record if you subscribe. Nothing else is sent to it.
- Anthropic Support chat Receives the text of your support-chat messages in order to generate a reply. Chat is not used to train models.
- Resend / Amazon SES Email delivery Delivers a support conversation to a human when the chat escalates.
- Maia Mechanics (Jovian Archive) Free chart calculator The free calculator is their software, embedded from thehumandesignsystem.com. The birth details you type into it go to them for the calculation and are not sent to this site.
Some of these are based in the United States. Where data moves out of the UK or EEA, it moves under the standard contractual protections those providers publish.
How long it is kept
- Birth data and completed analyses: kept while the engagement is live and for as long as you might reasonably come back to it, then deleted on request at any time. Ask and it goes.
- Order records: kept for seven years, because tax law requires it.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Support-chat transcripts: kept only as long as needed to resolve the conversation.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California you have the equivalent rights to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them — and note that your personal information is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, because this site does none.
There is no form for this and no ticket queue. Ask directly and it is handled within 30 days.
Other people's birth data
Team analyses involve more than one person's chart. Every member is informed and consents and submits their own data, or the engagement does not run for that team. Nobody is charted from details supplied about them by a manager or a colleague. The full standard is on the ethics page, and it is enforced in the checkout itself, not only in this paragraph.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing here is shared with an ad network or used to follow you around the internet. Your theme choice is stored in your own browser and never leaves it. The hosting layer may set a strictly necessary cookie for security.
One more, and only if you arrive on a referral link. Some practitioners and past clients refer people to this work and are paid a commission for it. If you follow one of their links, we store the referrer's code in your browser for 60 days so that if you buy something, we know who to pay. It holds a short code and nothing else — no name, no email, no record of what you read, and it is never shared. If you did not arrive on a referral link, it is never set at all.
You can clear it any time in your browser settings, and nothing about the site stops working if you do — the only effect is that the person who referred you does not get credited.
Children
Nothing here is sold to or aimed at anyone under 18, and their data is not knowingly collected.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the change is described here rather than applied quietly.
